J is a general-purpose programming language that draws inspiration from APL, both stemming from the innovative mind of Ken Iverson. J excels in mathematical, statistical, and logical analysis of text and numerical data.

J901 serves as the successor to J701. This iteration of the J Integrated Development Environment (J IDE) leverages version 9.3 of the J Engine.
