J is a general-purpose programming language that draws inspiration from APL, both stemming from the innovative mind of Ken Iverson. J excels in mathematical, statistical, and logical analysis of text and numerical data.

J901 serves as the successor to J701. This iteration of the J Integrated Development Environment (J IDE) leverages version 9.3 of the J Engine.

<li>Session log display options include showcasing the whole log or specific parts like inputs-only or transactions containing a designated J primitive or substring</li>

<li>Introduction of a shell-type preprocessor for common maintenance tasks on jscripts and various files</li>
<li>Dedicated scenes for showcasing output from functions such as "plot" and "viewmat"</li>
<li>Context-sensitive Help along with NuVoc lookup capabilities</li>
<li>Integration of the new "Mill" feature providing insights into noun transformations, e.g., numeric arrays and animated character graphics like Conway's Game Of Life</li>

Aligned with other J IDEs, this iOS application is freely accessible to aid educators and students in mathematics, statistics, science, and engineering. It also caters to J experts who typically rely on desktop setups for professional endeavors. Optimized for iPads but functional on iPhones, it primarily serves as a tool for exploration and enjoyment.
